![]() ![]() The energy used by household tumble driers accounts for a significant part of total household energy demand in the Union. Provisions for the energy labelling of household tumble driers were established by Commission Directive 95/13/EC of implementing Council Directive 92/75/EEC with regard to energy labelling of household electric tumble driers ( 2). Having regard to Directive 2010/30/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of on the indication by labelling and standard product information of the consumption of energy and other resources by energy-related products ( 1), and in particular Article 10 thereof,ĭirective 2010/30/EU requires the Commission to adopt delegated acts for the labelling of energy-related products representing significant potential for energy savings and presenting a wide disparity in performance levels with equivalent functionality.
